Big Screen Entertainment Group (BSEG) has announced that filming of its next feature film, "Sucker," has begun production. "Sucker" is a sci-fi comic-book-esque film, directed and co-written by BSEG's Michael Manasseri and produced by BSEG's Kimberley Kates and Stephen Eckelberry as well as Big Screen Michigan's new team of filmmakers. Filming is expected to last 6 weeks. The majority of filming will take place in Pontiac, Michigan, with select scenes being shot in Troy and on the campus of Oakland University; 95% of the cast and crew are locals from Michigan.
Management of Evolution Solar Corp. (EVSO) announced that they have completed the development and manufacture of a unique corrosion-resistant solar panel, which is expected to give the company a marketing edge in winning projects located on islands or near the ocean. The new systems are resistant to salt water and accumulate water condensation – which not only extends the product’s life, it is also becoming a new requirement for some projects – such as those located in Bermuda. These panels were built for the Company in China and are currently being shipped to the US for marketing and for installations by Evolution Solar.
BeBevCo (BBDA) announced that Entrepreneur and BeBevCo shareholder Zachary Daggett of Springfield, Illinois will be setting up his own distribution network in Sangamon, Christian, Macoupin, Madison and Montgomery counties in Illinois. Zachary, a dedicated and convinced BeBevCo shareholder for some time, had sampled the products and met with several retailers in his area which provided him with the inspiration to push forward on his new venture. "Actually, when I spoke with the owner of several Shell Food Mart gas stations, he ordered 10 cases immediately after sampling Koma," stated Zachary. "The owner of Shell Food Marts throughout three counties placed an order immediately after sampling Koma," stated Zachary.
Implant Sciences Corporation (IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security markets, announced that its senior secured investor, DMRJ Group LLC, has agreed to increase Implant Sciences’ line of credit from $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 and extend the maturity of all of Implant Sciences’ indebtedness from June 10, 2010 to September 30, 2010. Implant Sciences’ total indebtedness to DMRJ, including all principal and accrued interest, now stands at approximately $12 million.
REDWOOD CAPITAL BANK, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Redwood Capital Bancorp (RWCB), has been awarded the distinction of being one of California’s “Premier” Performing Banks for 2009 by The Findley Report. The designation was based on 2009 operating performance and management effectiveness, and places the bank in the top 10% of all California banks. The Findley Report provides an independent comprehensive review of bank performance criteria, including growth, net operating income, net loan loss and equity return. To qualify as a Premier Performing Bank, a bank must also meet the Findley Report’s A-quality criteria. This is the second time Redwood Capital Bank has been recognized for Premier Performance in its short six year history.

(NEOL) announced that it has started enrolling patients in its Phase II clinical trial for liposome entrapped docetaxel (LE-DT), as a frontline treatment of pancreatic cancer patients with locally advanced or metastatic disease. LE-DT is a novel, proprietary liposomal delivery system of docetaxel, the active ingredient of Taxotere®.
